Bespoke Wedding Cakes Nottingham and East Midlands

What Anesha’s Art of Cakes specialises in

I specialise exclusively in sugar paste wedding cakes, finished with couture detail — from handcrafted sugar flowers to modern textures such as edible lace, painted elements, and sculptural spacers

Every design is story-led and created to reflect the couple it belongs to. Your heritage, your journey, your shared aesthetic —translated into a cake that feels personal, considered, and entirely your own.

I work with one couple per week.

This allows each cake to be created with full focus, protected timelines, and the level of care a wedding centrepiece deserves

Wedding Cake Flavours. Thoughtfully Chosen

Flavour is never an afterthought. It is part of the design conversation from the very beginning.

My flavour collection blends globally inspired combinations with refined classics, influenced by my Caribbean-Indian heritage and shaped for modern celebrations. Each tier can be a different flavour, allowing variety without compromising cohesion.

Inclusive indulgence is always part of the offering. Vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-friendly options are available and designed with the same care, quality, and intention.

Flavour is where memory lives. Designed to be savoured, not rushed.

Do You Offer Any Luxury Extras for Our Wedding Day?

Yes. For couples who want to elevate their cake experience further, I offer refined additions such as sugar-flower shadow box keepsakes and personalised luxury sugar cookies, designed to complement your wedding aesthetic and become lasting mementos

How Much Will Our Wedding Cake Cost ?

To ensure the level of craftsmanship, time, and personal attention each cake receives, a minimum order value of £450 applies.

Most of my couples typically invest between £800 and £1,600 for a bespoke three- to five-tier wedding cake, reflecting the calm, considered process and couture-level finish behind each design.

Bespoke Wedding Cake FAQ’s

When should we book our wedding cakes?

I recommend enquiring once your venue and date are confirmed. As I work with one couple per week, availability becomes limited as dates are secured, and booking early ensures your wedding receives protected time and focus.

Do you work with fresh flowers?

Yes. When fresh flowers are part of your overall wedding styling, I’m happy to incorporate them into the final design. To ensure both safety and a flawless finish, I’ll review your florist’s confirmed bloom list in advance and prepare the flowers appropriately on the day. A simple disclaimer is required for insurance purposes, and blooms should arrive at the venue by 9am on the morning of your wedding.

Do you make buttercream or semi-naked cakes?

I specialise exclusively in sugar paste wedding cakes. Sugar paste offers the structural stability required for multi-tier designs and allows the level of couture detail, finish, and longevity my work is known for. It ensures your cake remains flawless throughout the day, even after several hours on display.

While buttercream can be beautiful, it has limited structural strength and a shorter lifespan at room temperature. Sugar paste allows me to work without compromise — prioritising design integrity, safety, and a refined finish from first look to final slice.

What happens if our plans or guest numbers change?

Flexibility is built into the way I work. Where possible, I’ll guide you through any adjustments and help refine the design so it continues to feel considered and balanced. Working with one couple per week allows space to respond calmly to changes, while ensuring every decision remains intentional and well managed.

Do you deliver and set up our wedding cake on the day?

Yes. I personally deliver and style every wedding cake, ensuring it arrives safely and is presented beautifully at your venue. Setup is handled with care and confidence, allowing you to enjoy your day knowing everything has been taken care of seamlessly.
