About Anesha Wedding Cake designer

Hello, This section is all about me: Anesha Baxter, a Trinidadian wedding cake maker living in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. I am a passionate wedding cake artist dedicated to creating unique wedding cakes inspired by the diverse love stories and heritage of my couples.

On a personal note, I have been married for 15 years to my darling Brit husband. We have two amazing neurodiverse children and a friendly merle miniature Labradoodle Maisie. I am a food lover, a self-proclaimed shopaholic, and a chronic book collector. I adore exploring new places, and when I do, you can usually find me rummaging through antique shops, sampling the best eateries, or soaking up all the historical sights and not the sun (I don’t need a tan you see )

About My Ethos

At Anesha’s Art of Cakes, I believe that every couple deserves a cake that reflects their passions, individual style, and shared journey. Your diverse background and preferences are important to me and I am committed to providing an inclusive and personalised service that brings your vision to life.

About My Inspiration

I grew up in the food lover’s paradise of Trinidad and Tobago, a multicultural British Commonwealth nation. At an early age I was immersed in a melting pot of rich traditions, inclusive lifestyles and vibrant flavours. This influence has significantly shaped my approach to wedding cake design. Now, with over a decade of experience and training, I am inspired to blend these culinary and cultural influences with innovative cake artistry to create wedding cakes that taste as great as they look

About My Journey

My journey to becoming a cake artist was not straightforward. Initially guided by cultural expectations, I pursued a conventional career. However, my dormant passion for creativity was reignited when I started making birthday cakes for my children. This led me to professional Sugarcraft training with the best artists in the world and, eventually, to leave my career as an optician to follow my heart. Establishing Anesha’s Art of Cakes allowed me to fully explore and share my artistic talents, and honour my roots. Just as I followed my heart to pursue my true passion, I encourage my clients to follow their hearts when designing their wedding cakes.

About My Promise

I understand that your wedding cake is more than just a delicious dessert—it’s the highlight of your wedding reception. It is a deeply traditional symbol of your union, encapsulating memories and emotions. I will incorporate your heritage, shared passions, and journey as a couple into an elegant cake design that reflects your essence. Whether you prefer traditional or modern styles, free-from or conventional cakes, my bespoke wedding cakes are designed to leave a lasting impression long after the last bite.

Do enjoy exploring my website. I hope it inspires you to get in touch with me to discuss the most significant cake in your life.

Anesha friendly, approachable and clearly enthusiastic and passionate about her job, which meant that she was able to guide us through the whole process of getting our dream wedding cake with ease.

She kept us in the loop throughout and we knew we were in good hands.

I cannot rate her (and her amazing cakes) highly enough! It is the best cake I’ve ever eaten!
